Wall mounts were custom-made for the television and cost about $1,000. There were no universal mounts, no HDMI cables, and none of them came with a stand or even speakers.

As the flat panel TV market grew, so did the options of sizes, and this always left us with the same dilemma.

Which TV model would best fill the custom space where the current outdated, bulky television sat?

This problem left us wishing we could input the dimensions of an existing space into a tool and magically populate all the television models that would fit within it.

Several years later, after I sold Digital Lifestyles, I was on my patio trying to decide what size television would fit on the wall between two windows. I spent hours trying to compare each manufacturer to determine which model would fill the space. The same idea came to me, and this time, I turned my idea into a business—TV Fit Finder!
